On April 29, 2024, the DigiHealth Team at CUST, in collaboration with the Health Services Academy, National Institute of Health, Islamabad, and Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, organized an online webinar and discussion session to provide an overview of digital solutions in healthcare. 6. 2024.04.26, Training of medical experts for the ‘Use of the Pilot 3 use case website and model’
On 24 April 2024, a one-day vocational training seminar with hands-on practices was conducted at the School of Dentistry, MNUMS on utilizing AI to categorize types of dental caries based on images collected using intraoral cameras. The event was attended by faculty and students from the School of Dentistry at MNUMS, as well as local urban and rural practicing dentists. Participants were trained in the use of intraoral cameras for data collection on children under five years old. The project team from MNUMS and NUM demonstrated how to upload the collected data to a designated website for further development and machine learning.
